With her parents consumed in domestic battles, Sara experiences life uncensored. She glimpses sex, both gorgeous and awful, and broken hearts, one of them, her own. When Sara's idea of fun gets her forbidden from everyone her own age, Sara finds her way into the lives of two older boys; boys who, like Sara, are ill-fitting neighborhood legends.
