Biography
Christopher Nunez is a writer and director from New Jersey whose work captures the raw journeys of young adults and outcasts as they navigate the complexities of adulthood and brutal but odd circumstances. As a child, Nunez worked as a performer under the direction of Michael Blevins (A Chorus Line, Chaplin) at Centenary University for six years, later continuing acting for Nouveaux Talent Management. This early experience on stage and in front of the camera greatly informs his approach as a director, enhancing his ability to create immersive worlds and fluid, authentic characters. His influences include Paul Thomas Anderson, Sean Baker, Peter Bogdanovich, Bob Fosse, Richard Linklater, and Eric Rohmer. Nunez graduated from Seton Hall University’s Digital Cinema program in May 2025, further solidifying his foundation in the art and craft of filmmaking.
